The Chiang Mai Project

The Chiang Mai Project is a cultural exchange between actors and artists in the US and Chiang Mai, Thailand.  The company consists of US actors and musicians, Thai actors, students, and expatriats performing a comedy in the style of Commedia dell'arte set
in 16th Century Bologna entitled 'Gap in Generations'
Proceeds from the performances will go to benefit the will be donated to two local charities: the Vieng Ping Children's Home and the Friends of the Asian Elephant.

Sharon Guilliat, the founder of The Chiang Mai Project theatre exchange program, handpicked D.V.A. Productions to produce a documentary illustrating how a committed group of performing artists can heal communities and the environment.The documentary will premiere in Spring 2008.
